@খ, সেরকম কিছুই এখনো করে উঠতে পারিনি। তিনটে জায়গায় খাবার পৌঁছনো গেছে। 

আমাদেরও একটা গ্রুপ আছে। যেখান থেকে বিভিন্ন শেলটর হোম, অনাথ আশ্রম এবং যারা ব্যক্তিগত উদ্যোগে দুঃস্থ মানুষদের খাওয়াচ্ছেন তাদের চাল, ডাল, আলু, আটা, ডিম কিনে দিয়ে দেওয়া হচ্ছে। পরশু মনোহরপুকুর রোডে দেওয়া হল। আমাদের সঙ্গে কয়েকজন জেলা স্তরে আছেন যথা কাকদ্বীপ, বারুইপুরে খুব অ্যাক্টভলি কাজ করছে। আমরা আমাদের পরিচিতদের মধ্যেই ফাণ্ড কালেক্ট করছি।  টাকা পাঠানো এখন একটু অসুবিধে হয়ে গেছে। ইন্টারনেট ব্যাঙ্কিং  অনেকেই ব্যবহার করেনা।

এখানে টাকা তুলতে বাধো বাধো লাগছিল বলে আর দিইনি।

দেবজ্যোতিদের উদ্যোগটায় এখনও যা উঠেছে।

The entire world is reeling under the impact of Corona pandemic and all of us are constantly looking at the rising curve of the contagion. The only option to control the situation seems to be social distancing and lockdown as of today. However, in a country like India, lockdown has a very high impact on the vast majority of unorganized sector workers (82%). The most vulnerable among them are migrant laborers working in locations far away from their native lands. With no  daily wages their way of life has become completely uncertain. They are fighting everyday to sustain themselves. With the current official mandate released to curb their movements including a passage back home, these people might become completely stranded with no work, no pay and no escape.

We are a small group of like minded people in Bangalore who are planning to reach out to workers stranded across the city to supply them with basic food ingredients. As of now we are targeting ~750 migrant labor families across Thubrahalli, Hebbal, Yelahanka, Varthur & Kariayamanna Agrahara. We plan to provide the following as 1 week ration to each family ( 4 members)

→ Rice - 10 Kg
→ Dal - 2 Kg
→ Salt - 1 Kg
→ Haldi powder -100 gms
→ Oil - 500 ml
→ Potato - 1 Kg
→ Soyabean - 1 Kg. 

The estimated price of each package is Rs 900. Thus the total cost for 750 families is Rs. 6,75,000.

We request you to come forward and join hands in all the effort. You can  donate to the cause (either monetarily or create a package and provide to us if possible). You can make this initiative your own by adding any amount suitable for you.
